What you will need:
- Shea butter and coconut oil blend.
- A sealant (I used SheaMoisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie)
After conditioning and detangling your hair, squeeze water out while still leaving hair damp. Part desired amount of hair. I chose to do chunky braid outs to add more volume. Saturate hair with shea butter and coconut oil mixture than braid. Once you get to the end of the braid, use your desired sealant to twist the end to make sure the braid doesn’t come unraveled. Once you reach the front of your head, on either the left side or the right side, make a clean and clear part. The braids on the left should point down towards the left and the braids on the right should point down on the right. After you are finished, slip into your satin bonnet for the night. The next day, unravel each braid carefully to cut down the possibility of the evil frizz. Saturate the side of the part you made with the least amount of braid out hair with a pomade or you can use the sealant you used earlier or you can use conditioner. Twist that side up and secure with a bobby pin. Fluff out the back and the other side that is loose and you are ready to go!
